Most of these living complexes include pools, tennis courts, biking trails and community gathering areas.
The neighborhood of Oak Creek is quaint and close-knit. There are many pocket parks throughout the neighborhood equipped with tot playgrounds, picnic areas with barbeques and trails for biking, rollerblading and walking. There is also a community pool with tot pools, lounging areas and a fitness center.
The Oak Creek Golf Club is a popular venue for golf enthusiasts, social events and weddings. The club’s fairway is a Tom Fazio championship golf course with scenic greens, sparkling lakes and dynamic flora. The club has a café where visitors can dine by the rustic fireplace or outdoor patio and serves up some sumptuous cuisine.
The residents of Oak Creek are privy to the fine schools of the Irvine Unified School District and shopping venues in Irvine. According to a recent report in Newsweek, three of Irvine’s high schools ranked in the top 500 in the nation. There is also a pedestrian crossing over the Alton Parkway that provides a safe link for children walking to the Oak Creek Elementary School. There are many strip malls throughout Irvine, but the most popular is the Irvine Spectrum Center. This mega malls features a large movie theater with 21 individual theaters, anchor stores, chic boutiques and fine restaurants. Residents at Oak Creek don’t have to venture far for a tasty tapa or Coach handbag.
In addition to the local amenities of the area, residents of Oak Creek are a short drive to some of coastal California’s best beaches and amusement parks. Laguna Beach, Newport Coast, Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar offer the best in watersports, seaside shops, cafes and museums.
There are over 20 beaches in Laguna Beach that stretch along the pristine coastline. Sailing, jet skiing, surfing, scuba diving and snorkeling are just a few of the watersport activities available.
